Korean Sheet Mask Haul

When I went to Korea this September the only souvenirs I brought back were sheet masks. I'm not much of a souvenir person, except when it comes to skincare. I needed a lot of masks, and wanted to try them all, so I got most of mine on the cheap at a Watsons. You can get higher end products all over Seoul and online, but this was the best deal I found for single masks rather than 10 or 30 packs.  I've gone through phases of using one every day and having the most luxurious skin of my life, but I've since cut back, trying to ration the last of my haul before I order 100 more online.

Sheet masks are exactly what they sound like. A sheet is cut to perfectly fit your face and is already soaked in the skin potions that stop you from aging. Just open the package, stick it to your face with all the right holes in all the right places, and hang out for 10-20 minutes. They clay ones have to stay on for about an hour, or until dry, but I prefer the gooey moisturizing ones that turn back time.

Not the fanciest masks on the market, but they were real cheap. And they're cute.

IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME and also look like my skin is melting off and also super quiche all at the same time.

My Favorite Most Affordable Masks(so far)

It might be because this was the first sheet mask I tried, and it holds a special place in my heart, but the black mask was my favorite. They make the horseoil mask I have yet to try out as well.

I got these because they were cheap and cute but was pleasantly surprised by how amazing my skin felt after using them! They team up with bigger mask companies to put their characters on their products. There are Mediheal Line Friend masks that have little animals printed on the actual mask too. Don't over look these masks just because they're adorable!

Illi wins the mask packaging award! Not to judge a book by it's cover, but these are speaking to my mature side. With a selection of anti aging and intensive moisturizing masks, that's not surprising!

Everyone's heard of Tony Moly by now. Their products are almost always adorable! Not surprisingly their masks are a cult classic at this point and easy to find online. The peach hand moisturizer is another good find, it comes in a container shaped like a peach!

Quick side note: Yes that is a horse oil mask. I grabbed it kind of by mistake, but not really because I grabbed two. What if horse fat is the secret ingredient that solves all of the worlds skins problems?! No idea if that's true, still a little afraid to put it on my face.

Bonus Products to Try!

Nose Packs

Like the biore nose strips that we've all tried at some point, I kept coming across various packages of nose strip packs that had 3 stages and some kind of cute critter on the packaging. GENIUS. So the first one is a moist strip, to get you ready for the peeling one that hardens, and the last one is soothing. Am I the only one that got a crazy itchy nose after using a biore strip?

Legs & Feet

Cooling Sheets
Like icy hot strips but less intimidating. Put them on your legs and feet and you'll immediately start to feel the cooling effects. Real nice after walking around all day.

Foot Mask
Masks for your feet! Exactly what it sounds like. Unlike the the face masks the Feet ones are supposed to have a mostly an exfoliating effect.

Where to Buy Online

With the holidays approaching, I already know almost everyone in my life is getting some kind of Korean beauty product. Online stores that carry a huge variety of Korean beauty products include Yesstyle, memebox, Soko Glam, and Peach & Lilly. Sephora and Amazon are also great sources for finding Korean beauty brands, but with a more limited selection.
