Butter Coffee

So I decided to eat butter again. 

Not that I ever really stopped, but it's been awhile since there's been butter in the fridge, and it didn't last long....

not approved by the beyonce diet (am i the only one who knows about the beyonce diet?)

Butter Coffee

1 cup coffee (or espresso)

1 tsp maple syrup (or honey)

1 tbsp butter (or coconut oil)

cinnamon 

 

I put all the ingredients together and blended, it didn't take long to get frothy. I just used my hand blender because the big one is too hard to clean for a cup of coffee. It's easy, and like a latte but better because it's BUTTER. 

Update: I switched out the butter for coconut oil, using about 1/2 tbsp per a cup. It's delicious, and from what I've seen on pinterest, healthy or something. I don't do it very often any more because I was starting to worry about the fact that 90% of my calories came from fat. Now I just do it when I happen to run out of almond milk, or if the coffee I got on QFC is especially shitty and needs some help.
